You know, a lot of people write blogs. It's sort of like an auto-biography. I don't think anyone will bother to read this, me being one insignificant kid in Australia, out of the millions of people out there with more interesting things to do.'
Yeah, so I'm in Australia. I know people out there might think that this is one exciting, different place. It doesn't seem like it to me. I live in the suburbs in Victoria, nothing special. My parents, apart from being a few years too young to have a teenage daughter, are like everyone else's. The only interesting things about my family might be the fact that my grandfather owns a nightclub.
Yeah, it's not usual.
"What are your grandparents doing? are they retired yet?"
"Oh yeah, one of them is, but my other grandfather owns a nightclub in W.A"
It's one of those things that makes people look at you and go "What?"
Yeah. So, If anyone around the world ever ends up in Western Australia, out in the desert, check out my Grand Pa's nightclub, Trawlers in Karratha.
One fact about myself is that I have never left this country. Unless you count Tasmania, where I was born, which I really don't. Me and a friend of mine always laugh about the fact that when I was three months old, and moved to Vic, I had my other head cut off.
Yeah, people around here, I'm not sure why, reckon Tassie's are kind of scungy. I'm not sure why, I don't exactly have such a good memory that I remember my first three months of life. But they say things like they all marry their siblings (Erk.) and they have two heads, ie. two personalities. Which I kind of must have double of, I mean, seeing I'm a Gemini and all. But I think it's a stupid prejudice against those poor Tassie's and I think that people all together should just face the fact that, everyone in someone else's eyes is scummy.
Just like this thing between all the schools in my local area. Everyone at my school goes on about the fact that one school is scummier than us, while another is full of kids all up themelves. While the "Up-themselves" school id probably told by their teachers to watch out for us and the scummy school labels us as scummier, as we do to them visa-versa. No one likes being called scum, and it's kind of a big thing around here. Oh, and obviously I go to a Public High School, if no one figured it out.
I hate when people start on a whole "Scum" rant. People are people, and if everyone looked at everyone else with out thinking silently "Scum" in there head, maybe there wouldn't be people running in and egging and graffiting our school, and visa-versa.
Talk starts more talk. Ok, I'm going to get off the subject, because I feel like I'm dragging on, which I am. What was the point I started with? Oh yeah, the fact I've never left Aus before.
I can't wait to get out of here, honestly. I very much so wanted to go on student exchange to Japan, but we don't exactly have a spare 10,000 dollars laying around. So that went out the window. So, starting next Feb, when I reach the age of 14-nine-months (ie. the age here for when you can get a job) I am saving up to go travelling.
Ok then. Well, I hope you enjoyed my starting off thing... I'll try to keep at it.
xx
